Remote or Premium? Buy the Raid Pass You Will Actually Use

A cheap bundle is no bargain if it contains the wrong pass. Here is how to choose for remote invites or a day of local raids.

A friend sends you a raid invite from another city. You have green passes in your bag, but the game still asks for a Remote Raid Pass. That is the difference that matters when shopping.

Decide how you are joining before comparing the price of a box.

Match the pass to the plan

Premium Battle Passes also have a use in GO Battle League’s premium reward track. “Premium” does not mean that they include remote access.

Count the passes you need, not just the ones in the box

Imagine one box has ten Premium Battle Passes and another has three Remote Raid Passes. If all your plans this week are remote invites, the first box does not solve the problem, however good its price per pass looks.

For a local raid day, compare boxes containing passes you can use in person. Check what is already in your bag before deciding how many more to buy.

Treat the extras separately. If you regularly delete potions, a pile of potions should not be the reason you stretch your budget.

A Remote Raid Pass is not an all-access ticket

Check the event’s entry rules and the game’s current carrying and use conditions. A temporary event increase is not a promise about next weekend.

If you cannot join, first check the battle type and its participation rules. Buying another pass will not fix an eligibility restriction.
